10 August 2026, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE: Ras Al Khaimah attracted more than AED 771.5 million (USD 210 million) in capital investment during the first half of 2026, further strengthening its position as one of the UAE's fastest-growing investment destinations.

According to the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the emirate continued to demonstrate strong economic momentum, driven by sustained business activity, international investor confidence, and ongoing expansion across multiple sectors.

During the first six months of 2026, Ras Al Khaimah welcomed 1,399 new investors representing 68 nationalities and registered 967 new establishments, reflecting the emirate's growing appeal as a destination for both local and international businesses.

Business activity also remained robust, with 9,963 licences issued and renewed, while 138 new establishments joined Ras Al Khaimah's free zones, reinforcing the emirate's competitive business ecosystem. In addition, 70 new branches were established by local and foreign companies, highlighting continued expansion across the private sector.

The latest investment activity is expected to generate approximately 2,449 new jobs, supporting employment growth and contributing to the emirate's broader economic development agenda.

Commenting on the latest performance, Dr. Rashid Khalfan Al Nuaimi, Director-General of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said:

"The latest indicators reflect the positive performance of the local economy and ongoing expansion across various economic sectors."

The latest figures highlight Ras Al Khaimah's continued efforts to strengthen its investment landscape through a business-friendly environment, expanding private sector participation, and policies that encourage long-term economic growth. As international investor interest continues to rise, the emirate is reinforcing its position as a leading destination for investment, entrepreneurship, and sustainable economic development in the UAE.
