13 March 2025: AMPECO, a global EV charging management software leader, has successfully completed in-depth integration tests with Ekoenergetyka-Polska S.A., a leading manufacturer of advanced EV charging stations. The tests validated the seamless compatibility between Ekoenergetyka’s Axon Easy charging station and AMPECO’s hardware-agnostic EV charging management platform. This integration tackles critical challenges faced by Charge Point Operators across Europe, including regulatory compliance, secure payment processing, and improved user engagement.

As a hardware-agnostic platform, AMPECO collaborates with leading EV charging manufacturers such as Ekoenergetyka to provide CPOs with the flexibility to operate and expand their networks using their preferred hardware. By enabling seamless integration between Ekoenergetyka’s charging stations and its management platform, AMPECO supports CPO’s in expanding their networks while ensuring compliance with the complex regulatory standards of European markets.

The integration tests focused on four key functionalities, each delivering significant value to CPOs. The tests successfully validated full compliance with German Eichrecht regulations, guaranteeing transparent and precise billing. This regulatory adherence provides EV drivers with a clear breakdown of energy usage and costs, enhancing consumer protection and meeting essential market requirements.

The integration successfully validated the implementation of Auto Charge functionality, optimising and streamlining charging sessions. This feature enhances efficiency and makes charging networks more attractive to B2B customers and fleet operators, who rely on fast and seamless charging solutions. Additionally, the testing confirmed the ability of Ekoenergetyka’s charging stations to display personalized messages, turning them into interactive communication hubs. This capability allows CPOs to engage EV drivers in real time, providing updates, promotions, and other dynamic content that enhances the charging experience.

The tests also confirmed secure on-site payment processing through dynamic QR codes, allowing ad-hoc charging without the need for user registration. This feature increases station utilisation by accommodating occasional users while offering CPOs an opportunity to boost revenue.

In an official publication by AMPECO, Marcin Krawczyk, Sales Director of the SEE Region at Ekoenergetyka-Polska S.A., stated, “Completing the tests with positive results confirms our ability to integrate with modern backend systems and meet the highest market and regulatory requirements. Our goal is not only to develop technology but also to create solutions that meet customer expectations and support the development of electromobility in Europe.”

By successfully integrating with Ekoenergetyka’s Axon Easy charging station, AMPECO reinforces its commitment to advancing EV charging infrastructure. The integration ensures that charging networks across Europe operate efficiently, securely, and in full compliance with industry regulations.
