VELTIUM Launches Enhanced Fleet-at-Home Platform to Support EV Fleet Electrification

Spain, 15 April 2025: VELTIUM, a leader in smart charging solutions, has introduced a new and improved version of its Fleet-at-home solution, a dedicated platform tailored for companies with electric vehicle fleets whose employees charge their vehicles at home.

The updated platform features a more intuitive interface designed to enhance user experience and introduces powerful new functionalities. Fleet managers can now independently monitor the usage of chargers installed at employees’ residences, offering greater control and transparency.

In an official publication by VELTIUM, Urko Cantalapiedra, Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer at VELTIUM stated, “This service allows companies to monitor, oversee, and compensate for charging at their employees’ homes, and it has been a great success. This model has already been adopted by several multinational companies, and demand continues to grow, as it helps them overcome barriers to electrifying their fleets. It’s delivering exceptional results.

Fleet-at-home has quickly become a go-to solution for organisations looking to begin or scale their EV fleet initiatives. Unlike conventional, centralised charging models based at company premises, VELTIUM’s platform addresses the growing need to manage EVs that are charged offsite, especially at employees’ homes.

In the same press release Urko Cantalapiedra further added, “Most people, when thinking about fleets, only picture last-mile delivery or commercial vehicles. But the reality is that many company vehicles are charged at home – and that’s the challenge we’re helping to solve.”

The platform’s evolution reinforces VELTIUM’s commitment to decentralised, smart electric mobility. By eliminating technological barriers and focusing on intuitive, efficient solutions, the company is accelerating the shift toward a sustainable energy future.
