Devitech and Virta Collaborate to Boost EV Fleet Management Solutions in the UK

22 April, 2024: Devitech, a specialist in commercial EV charger installation and aftercare, has partnered with Virta, a developer of smart EV charging services, with the goal of transforming EV fleet management solutions in the UK. Together, they plan to introduce an intelligent back-office management system for workplace EV chargers.

Virta's integrated platform facilitates the management of charging sessions for fleets whether at home, on the go, or at the workplace, aiming to eliminate obstacles in efficient EV fleet management.

Employees can effortlessly manage and record all charging sessions through the Virta app, guaranteeing accurate monthly energy usage reports for each user. This simplifies the reimbursement process, ensuring a smooth and trouble-free experience.

Virta provides a comprehensive, streamlined charging solution designed for efficient and affordable smart EV charging. Catering to large enterprises seeking to manage EV charging networks across continents, the company offers modular solutions. Virta's services encompass essential capabilities in charging management, energy management, payment processing, invoicing, EV driver services, and roaming.

More than 1,000 companies and organisations worldwide utilise the Virta Platform for their EV charging services, with a charging event occurring on the Virta network approximately every 1.5 seconds. This results in the replacement of 11 million litres of gasoline each month.

In a press release published by Devitech, Graham Rowlands, Managing Director at Devitech said, “We are excited to join forces with Virta to offer holistic EV fleet management solutions to our customers. Gone are the days of managing multiple EV charging systems for different locations. With a unified back-office platform like Virta, your employees can charge their EVs at home, at the office, and even on the road at public EV chargers, all under one app. Through this strategic partnership, we are ensuring that our customers are equipped with the best possible end-to-end fleet management solutions to ensure an integrated and stress-free approach. This is the future of seamless EV charging.”

The partnership between Devitech and Virta signifies a major step forward in the UK's electric vehicle landscape. The synergistic alliance is poised to drive greater efficiency, reliability, and sustainability in managing electric vehicle fleets, further contributing to the UK's transition towards a greener transportation ecosystem.
