It performs at 545 Nm of torque and high energy efficiency. This sort of high performance shows the significant innovation that has been going on in the current EV’s technological realm.
Among its standout innovations, the Enyaq RS introduces Skoda’s first-ever bidirectional DC charging capability. Although full specifications are pending, the technology is expected to support vehicle-to-home functionality, allowing energy from sources like solar panels to be stored in the vehicle and redistributed when needed.
Range estimates place the SUV version at 550 km, with the Coupe offering a slightly longer 560 km. The vehicle houses a 79 kWh battery, which can be fully charged from empty in approximately 8.5 hours using an 11 kW AC charger. On the DC side, fast charging is supported at up to 185 kW,which is an improvement over the 135 kW and 175 kW charging speeds of the Enyaq 85 and 85x, respectively.
The Enyaq RS comes well-equipped as standard, featuring Matrix LED headlights, a backlit Tech-Deck grille, an advanced augmented reality head-up display, and 20-inch alloy wheels. With an upgraded all-wheel-drive system and a suite of performance features, it currently holds the title of Skoda’s quickest-accelerating and fastest-charging model.
Driving dynamics are further sharpened by a sport-tuned suspension, which lowers the front by 15 mm and the rear by 10 mm. Buyers can also opt for adaptive chassis control and progressive steering, both of which offer personalized driving characteristics via selectable modes.
Blending strong performance with smart energy solutions and modern design, the new Skoda Enyaq RS marks a major advancement in the company’s electrification efforts. It balances day-to-day functionality with bold aesthetics and cutting-edge technology, positioning itself as a formidable option in the performance EV SUV category.
