Ras Al Khaimah Unveils 'RAK Central' As The Largest Business Hub In Northern Emirates

30 Jan, 2024: Marjan, the primary developer of freehold properties in Ras Al Khaimah, has launched ‘RAK Central’, a massive mixed-use project featuring Grade A offices, set to be the 'premier commercial business district in the Northern Emirates.'  Scheduled for opening in 2026, it aims to catalyse business and tourism growth, create employment prospects and reshape the Emirate's lifestyle landscape.

After finishing all stages of the extensive project, RAK Central will establish a dynamic hub for work, residence, and recreation, aligning with RAK Vision 2030. This endeavour aims to foster a thriving and varied economy, cultivate cohesive and content communities, ensure sustainability, and promote environmental conservation through innovative green building approaches.

Situated along Sheikh Mohammed bin Salem Al Qasimi Street, boasting stunning vistas of Al Hamra Golf Club and the Arabian Gulf, RAK Central will host the most expansive commercial business district in the Northern Emirates. Customised commercial areas will cater to anchor tenants' requirements, featuring spacious layouts for adaptable design. Over time, RAK Central anticipates evolving into Ras Al Khaimah's primary business centre, drawing top enterprises and entities in the region, including Marjan, to establish their headquarters.

RAK Central is set to offer a significant 3 million square feet of rented office space alongside over 4,000 residential units. Additionally, the development will include three hotels, each with over 1,000 rooms, as well as various parks, retail outlets, and entertainment facilities.

Construction is scheduled to commence this year, with the initial phase of infrastructure and the primary business complex expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2026.

As Ras Al Khaimah continues to position itself as a leading hub for economic growth and innovation, 'RAK Central' stands as a testament to the emirate's commitment to fostering entrepreneurship, attracting investment, and driving sustainable development. With its promising potential to attract top businesses and organisations, 'RAK Central' is set to play a pivotal role in shaping the future landscape of business and commerce in the Northern Emirates.
