17th October 2024:  At the Movenpick Resort Al Marjan Island, H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, welcomed Robert Raines, the US Consul-General for Dubai and the Northern Emirates, alongside a distinguished delegation from the US-UAE Business Council, led by President Danny E. Sebright. The meeting focused on enhancing trade and investment relations between the US and the UAE, with an emphasis on fostering cooperation and strategic partnerships across various economic sectors. The aim was to lay a strong foundation for sustainable progress and mutual prosperity for both Ras Al Khaimah and the United States.

Following the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Saud, the Consul-General, and representatives from the US-UAE Business Council received valuable insights from senior business leaders and government officials regarding Ras Al Khaimah’s ambitious development goals and its vibrant business environment, highlighting additional investment opportunities. The briefing featured executives from prominent US companies, including Deloitte, General Motors, PwC, Boeing, and Oracle, along with high-ranking officials from the US Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate in Dubai.

Robert Raines and the members of the US-UAE Business Council expressed their gratitude for H.H. Sheikh Saud's warm hospitality and generous welcome, emphasising the strong economic ties between the UAE and the US, as well as the exceptional investment climate in Ras Al Khaimah.
