Ras Al Khaimah and Oman launch a Joint Marketing Initiative Named “See Double”

March 12, 2024: The Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) and Oman Ministry of Heritage and Tourism in collaboration with OMRAN Group have introduced an innovative summer campaign, “See double”, inviting travellers to explore both Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, and Musandam, Oman, in one unforgettable journey.

The campaign aims to entice travellers with double the experience by twinning up both destinations, offering fun, adventure, and beauty. Running from June 15 to September 15, “See Double” also emphasises the 'Kids Go Free' offer, ensuring value for money on accommodations and meals at most hotels and resorts in Ras Al Khaimah and Musandam.

Officially introduced after the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in November 2023, the See Double campaign effectively demonstrates how travellers can maximise their experience within a 90-minute drive, promising captivating visits to remarkable destinations and attractions. Travellers will have the opportunity to explore Ras Al Khaimah's stunning coastline, indulge in activities such as dolphin spotting, experience thrilling adventures like the world's longest ziplines, and delve into historical sites and cultural heritage.

H.E Raki Phillips, CEO of RAKTDA said in an official press release by RAKTDA, “Our See Double campaign with the ministry in collaboration with OMRAN brings together the best of Ras Al Khaimah and the Musandam Governorate in one sensational summer promotion. This joint marketing effort marks the beginning of numerous cross-destination promotions we plan with the Sultanate of Oman. It aims to highlight the diverse attractions and experiences available to international travellers in both destinations. Pioneering in the region, the campaign is testament to our strong synergy, aligning with the international trend towards frictionless, borderless travel, and enhancing accessibility and convenience for travellers.”

Ras Al Khaimah and the Musandam Governorate flaunt impressive natural features, historic sites, vibrant cultural offerings, and thrilling adventure opportunities, all emphasising outdoor pursuits. This collaboration heralds a new era of seamless travel experiences, showcasing the best of both the destinations.
