Ras Al Khaimah, November 19: The Ras Al Khaimah Investment and Business Summit (RAKIS) 2025 officially opened its doors today at the Al Hamra International Exhibition & Conference Centre, marking the start of a two-day gathering of global investors, senior government officials, and industry pioneers.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, the summit brings together influential stakeholders to explore investment opportunities shaping the emirate’s rapidly evolving economic landscape.
Now in its second edition, RAKIS 2025 builds on last year’s success with an expanded agenda that highlights Ras Al Khaimah’s growing potential across manufacturing, real estate, tourism, industrial development, renewable energy, and sustainable infrastructure.
“Just a year ago, we launched this platform with a bold vision to showcase Ras Al Khaimah’s transformation and connect industries with investors. Today, as we open our second edition, that vision isn’t just alive, it’s accelerating,” said Shariq Abdul Hai, CEO of Valiant Market Services, organisers of the summit.
The summit’s conference opened this morning with keynote sessions featuring senior representatives from the RAK Chamber, RAKEZ, Marjan, MoIAT, RAK Properties, and other prominent institutions. Speakers will share insights on the emirate’s investment landscape, including real estate development, advanced manufacturing, infrastructure expansion, tourism growth strategies, and sustainability pathways aligned with national and regional economic objectives.
The confirmed speakers include high-level government and industry figures such as Dr. Abdulrahman Al Shaib Al Naqbi, Director General of the RAK Department of Economic Development; Rabih Khouri, Chief Investment Officer at the Investment & Development Office of Ras Al-Khaimah; H.E.
