One of the highlights included a significant announcement from Seb Dance, the Deputy Mayor of London for Transport, announcing the deployment of five new ultra-rapid charging hubs across the city. These hubs, part of an initiative led by Places for London, TFL's property company, aim to facilitate swift charging, enabling drivers to power up their vehicles in as little as 10 to 30 minutes.
Mr. Dance highlighted, "London is leading by example, with over a third of all charge points in the UK installed in our city so far. The joint venture for ultra-rapid charging hubs will make it even easier and more convenient for Londoners and local businesses to switch to electric vehicles."
