The establishment of Canoo Technologies UK Limited will enable the company to meet the increasing demand in the UK’s light commercial vehicle (LCV) market.

Located at Bicester Motion, the new hub will allow customers to experience Canoo’s right-hand drive electric vans firsthand. This strategic move comes as the UK leads the charge in EV adoption, supported by ambitious zero-emission vehicle mandates.

Canoo’s entry into the UK reflects its commitment to sustainability and innovation in mobility solutions. By positioning itself at Bicester Motion, a site renowned for automotive advancements, Canoo aligns itself with the UK’s targets for zero-emission vehicles. The facility will serve not only as a space for test drives but also as a base for further expansion into European markets.

The UK’s favourable regulatory environment, including incentives such as the Plug-in Van Grant (PIVG), makes it an attractive market for Canoo’s commercial electric vans.
