AFMIC 2021 - Set To Be Africa’s Largest Virtual Mining Convention

The African continent is richly endowed with mineral resources that have the potential to contribute significantly towards the heavy economic development of the continent. Several African nations are enriched with enormous quantities of untapped mineral wealth and the region’s mining sector is consistently growing to offer an attractive environment for both local and international mining investors. The continent has about 30% of the world’s total mineral reserves including industrial diamonds, platinum, manganese, gold, bauxite, and cobalt among others. Precious metals are scattered throughout Africa, from Ethiopia in the east to Senegal in the west, and South Africa in the South. Diamonds are found throughout the continent and copper is all over the place in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, South Africa and Namibia. Each African country is rich in resources of one kind or another, and recent exploration and mining initiatives by many African countries in collaboration with multinational conglomerates are resulting in a boom in the continent's affluent mining sector.

Dedicated to connecting global mining investors with the key stakeholders in the African mining sector, the Africa Mining Convention - AFMIC 2021 is a much-anticipated virtual event on the mining industry calendar where the industry leaders are set to share best practices and innovations in the mining sector and network with mining industry peers from across the globe.
